Wie speichert ein XML-Dokument in Mac OS X?

Zuerst habe ich TextEdit geöffnet. Ging zum Menü Formatieren & ich setze Option - > Klartext erstellen, Ich habe folgende Daten eingegeben, die in meiner Bewerbung benötigt werden.

Nach dem speichern dieser Datei als UTF-8, Immer wenn ich versuchte, meine XML-Datei über XMLParser zu lesen, erhalte ich folgende Daten aus der Datei

Was anzeigt, dass die Datei nicht im richtigen Format gespeichert ist.

Ich möchte einfach eine XML-Datei mit TextEdit in Mac OS X speichern.
